The MySweetCharity elves have been shredding. They even have adorable exercise outfits and matching curly-toed sneakers. Their itty-bitty mats are temperature controlled. The MSC chef has come up with a delicious velvet hammer power shake that is served after each workout.
The reason for all this toning up is Thursday, September 18 — North Texas Giving Day.

To a MSC elf, NTGD is like hitting the tooth fairy jackpot and Santa Claus’ secret stash on the same day. They especially loved the year when the response to NTGD was so great that it blew the online capabilities and then took out the phone lines. Oh, those were memory makers.
But since then Communities Foundation of Texas Czar Brent Christopher and his royals have gone into warp speed to prevent such an occurrence from happening. Darn!
Ah, but the MSC elves still have their hopes that such a surge of donors will overwhelm the Christopher Court from 6 a.m. to midnight on Thursday, September 18, for the benefit of 1,600 area nonprofits. It will be taking place online, on the phone and with activities throughout North Texas.
In order to build a tsunami of interest, the MSC elves with the help of SparkFarm’s Carrie Dyer are rolling out the North Texas Giving Day Booster Series tomorrow. It’s a great opportunity to learn about nonprofits within North Texas that are making a difference for good. Who knows? You just might find a new fav organization to support.
Sorry. Have to dash off to the afternoon shredding.
