When you’re dealing with some tip-top-tier-types, you’ve got to try to align all their schedules. The more impressive the collection of heavyweights, the more complicated the scheduling. Such was the situation facing Methodist Health System Foundation President April Box Chamberlain and her team. In May they announced the Robert S. Folsom Leadership Award recipient would be Bobby Lyle and the date of the dinner would be Thursday, September 25, in the Anatole’s Grand Ballroom.
But that was before some additional impressive names were added to the committee.
Word just arrived that the new date for the dinner that is always full of surprises is Wednesday, November 19. And instead of the downstairs Grand Ballroom, the seated supper will be in the newly refurbished Imperial Ballroom (formerly known as the Khmer Pavilion).
And what types of VIP’s are involved in the fundraiser? Along with Linda and Mitch Hart and Carolyn and David Miller serving as the event co-chairs, honorary co-chairs will be Nancy Ann and Ray Hunt and Renda and Rex Tillerson.
And there’s still more news. For the underwriters at the $10,000+ level, there will be a patron party at Mary McDermott Cook’s “new hilltop home in Oak Cliff.” It will be the first time the house overlooking the Dallas skyline, Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge and the Trinity Corridor will be open for such a gathering.
So, right after you adjust your calendar, get your reservations in.
