JUST IN: Grammy-Award Winning Wynonna To Perform At Dallas Area Habitat For Humanity’s Building Hope Celebration Dinner

Jul 28, 2014 3:30 PM by Jeanne Prejean

Oh, boy! More good news. Remember back in June when the Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity group announced plans for celebrating in big style this year with former First Couple Rosalynn and Jimmy Carter coming to town? The really big woo-ha — Building Hope Celebration Dinner presented by Pioneer Resources — takes place Thursday, October 9th at AT&T Stadium (aka Jerry World).

But you already knew all that. Here’s what you didn’t know. Co-Chairs Lynn and Allan McBee just revealed the evening’s entertainer. It’s gonna be five-time Grammy winner Wynonna Judd. You just know she knows her way around a stage and will provide fine entertainment.

The evening’s proceeds benefit “the 2014 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project, where thousands of volunteers will help to build hope for low-income families in North Texas the week of October 5 -11, 2014.”

Tickets for the evening start at $250.

And, don’t forget about all the activities that will be taking place during the work week. It might be a good time to schedule some vacation time to do some neighborly assistance.
