A tornado warning has been issued for Dallas with the movement heading through the Park Cities toward Richardson.
Just to play it safe, why not take a break and go to a safe place until 4:15 p.m.? That’s when the tornado warning is to end and you can return to being busy.
UPDATE (3:15 p.m.): Tornado warning has been canceled for the Dallas CBD area and Park Cities proper. However, windows are reported broken and power lines are down. If you see a line, do not touch. You know better, but you might want to remind your kids. After all, live power lines do look like mega-sparklers. The tornado warning continues for the northern and northeastern part of Dallas County.
UPDATE (9:30 p.m.): Tornado warnings are now history for the area and so far no lives were lost. Well, thank heaven for that one. But there are those left behind who could surely use some help. Oops! Are we talking about someone you know? Wink, wink. End of week guilt is setting in.
