According to Fashion Stars For A Cause Founder Yvonne Crum,
“As I sit here writing what my personal goals are for 2014, I received the opportunity to share my goals for my inaugural event Fashion Stars for a Cause 2014 and am delighted to say that I have high expectations for this event benefiting Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas and have set a $250,000 goal. My goal is to make THAT happen and more. . . with everyone’s help.
“We have selected these 12 amazing women – Rhonda Marcus, Janee Harrell-Hill, Regina Bruce, Carla Miller, Antonia Hubert, Alex Small, Britt Harless, Robin Brock, Ashley Burghardt, Hilary Kennedy, Toni Munoz-Hunt and Cynthia Smoot to help with fundraising for the much needed programs of the Suicide and Crisis Center: Survivors of Suicide and Teens Can Survive. These programs have saved so many lives and had an impact on our community. I have been involved with SCC since 2006 and feel that we have made great progress but there is more work to be done. Each of the Fashion Stars chosen will be helping with Raffle Tickets, Table Sales and Underwriting. More important they will be helping raise awareness.

“In the month of January, each will visit the center for a light lunch, tour and learn what SCC does for the community and what an impact it makes. With all the bullying and depression at an all-time high, these women will be a force and champion of those that need it.
“With all that said, I wish for more funding and more awareness in our community and that is my goal for Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas for 2014.”

Wonderful article, Sweet Charity. Beautiful photo and message, Yvonne Crum! I’m so honored to be associated with these ladies to help raise funds for this much needed cause, founded by Yvonne. Her tireless efforts have helped SCC greatly over the years. Let’s exceed expectations this year!

Thank you for creating awareness for Yvonne’s vision. She is a beautiful philanthropist, and we are so fortunate to have her living and ‘sprinkling her magic pixie dust’ right here in Dallas!
