According to Face 2 Face Foundation Founder/Managing Director Jeremy Bradford,
“Face 2 Face Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 that connects children who are fighting life-limiting disease or disabilities with their celebrity heroes through the magic of Skype, FaceTime, etc. It’s great for kids who are able to get much-needed encouragement from someone they admire and it’s great for the celebrity who can make that impact on their most special fans without cutting too much into their busy schedules.
“We formed in 2012 but really took off in 2013. We’ve helped brightened the day of kids who suffer from a variety of illnesses by connecting them with their favorite athletes, musicians, a Broadway star, and even a monster truck driver. We’ve done all of this without a paid staff. After proving what we can do with little resources, we are well-positioned to bring smiles to the faces and joy to the hearts of an exponentially greater number of kids in 2014. But in order to do that, we need the resources to hire a full-time Director.
“Our wish would be for the for the funds, perhaps in a sort of an endowment, to hire an Executive Director who can dedicate a full-time effort to identifying kids who meet our criteria as well as grow our network of people who are in a position to put us in touch with the requested celebrities as needed.”
