According to Northwood University‘s 2013 Distinguished Women’s Gala Chair Leslie Ann Crozier,
“Each Fall Northwood University, internationally recognized for expertise in educating the next generation of entrepreneurs, not only welcomes new and returning students, but also highlights the accomplishments of outstanding women leaders around the country.
Through Northwood’s annual Distinguished Women’s (DW) program, more than 300 women of accomplishment in business, the arts, philanthropy, elective office, and community service have been honored with special recognition. I am proud to have received this honor in 2006 and to be among Dallas DW honorees including Elaine Agather, Ruth Altshuler, Lee Bailey, Carole Ann Brown, Ruth Buzzi, Yvonne Crum, Barbara Daseke, Kathryn Hall, Christi Harris, Julie Hersh, Caroline Rose Hunt, Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison, Martha Hyder, Janet Kafka, Charlene Lake, Lynn McBee, Patricia Meadows, Tincy Miller, D’Andra Simmons, Joan Swalwell, Nina Vaca, Gail Warrior, Donna Arp Weitzman, Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Dee Wyly. The Northwood DW Class of 2013 is expected to add continuing distinction to this list of women.
