While Santa’s elves may be taking the summer off, those Munson gals (Merry Munson Wyatt, Kathryn Munson Beach and Meg Munson McGonigle) have been hard at work preparing for December’s Tutu Chic Fashion Show and Luncheon.
Not only have they lined up Stanley Korshak to once again provide the fashions for the December 5th Texas Ballet Theater fundraiser, they’ve landed a unique twosome as honorary co-chairs — Dee Wyly and Niven Morgan.
“We could not be more excited about Dee and Niven as honorary chairs,” said Stanley Korshak’s main man Crawford Brock. ”They are both valued friends of the Dallas arts community and considered family here at Stanley Korshak. We could not be more grateful for their commitment to Texas Ballet Theater.”
What fun this one will be with a bubbly champagne reception followed by the fashion show with TBT dancers instead of models on the stage of the Winspear surrounded by guests and then lunch in the lobby.
And, of course, it’s always fun to hear what Crawford has to say. The gent missed his calling. Somewhere an Oscar wishes the retailer had found his way to the silver screen.
