When all else fails, you can always fall back on that “little black dress” . . . at least, if you’re a woman. Add a sweeping Etro cape, a mammoth Rebecca Collins necklace, a Valentino shawl or killer Suzi Roher belt, and you’ve got a winning look. It can be dressed up or down. The accessories define the occasion with the black dress being the canvas.
For a second year, local designers will prove their worth by “interpreting the iconic little black dress” at Fashion Cited to benefit Legal Hospice of Texas. This showing of the black is not just for displaying.
No, siree! The designers have been competing for votes to decide which frock is tops. The winner will be revealed Thursday at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.
Doors open at 6:30 with tickets going for $50.
