When Jan Miller and Jeff Rich set up events at their home for both Monday, September 24, and Tuesday, September 25, they didn’t realize that the gods of street construction would be part of the set-up. With blocks around their outstanding palazzo boasting “Closed” signs, guests drove their cars through a Highland Park maze trying to arrive.
Monday night was to celebrate T.D. Jakes’ “Let It Go,” and Tuesday was to preview the Each Moment Matters Book and to honor the 2012 Each Moment Matters Award Honorees Isabelle K. Adams, Katherine K. Adams, Gil H. Andres, Mike Blake, Eleanor and Howard Bond Ph.D., Frank D. Bracken, Dalene Buhl,

While the dining room table was surrounded by guests looking over the Each Moment Matters book, the rest of the house was soon filled. But this was simply a prelude to the Friday, October 19, Each Moment Matters Luncheon at the Hilton Anatole, when all will be officially acknowledged for their support of the Faith Presbyterian Hospice. KDFW-CH. 4’s Clarice Tinsley will emcee the luncheon that will also honor the Harold Simmons Foundation.
