The Esteem Fashion Show took place Saturday at Saks Fifth Avenue. From reports, 200 tickets were sold, but according to some participants more than a couple of empty seats were spotted. Too bad because this fundraiser for The Elisa Project proved to be an event where the folks on the runway were still talking about all the fun they had for days after.
Ah, come on. If you buy a ticket, show up or release it to the organization for youngsters and volunteers who couldn’t afford it.
Or, why doesn’t someone do a fashion show where you pay to be on the catwalk? Imagine having your hair and makeup done, wearing the season’s newest clothes and parading in front of friends, strangers and new BFF?

Excellent idea. make 1 ticket the price to be a model in the show..!
Several years ago. KidneyTX and National Kidney Foundation of TX did that.. asked Top Donors to model with their families.. sold a lot to tables.. good for the Cause..
