There’s a Mercedes that’s looking for a home. But before you go opening your electric-gated driveway to welcome the luxury vehicle, there’s a slight catch. You just knew there would be one, but it’s a good one.
The Mercedes is the prize for the 2012 Fresh Faces of Fashion raffle. The drawing is May 23 at Park Place.
And it even gets better. The winner gets to pick between
a C250 Sedan (MSRP $37,500) with high performance, efficiency and a bold design that is brilliantly executed and engages your every sense with sporty style and advanced luxury or
a C250 Coupe (MSRP $38,500) with four sport seats and passion for the road in sleek style. Aggressive in presence, athletic in shape, and confident in its stance, the C-Class Coupe exudes performance from every angle.
The $100 raffle tickets are a snap to be gotten. They can be purchased from any of the 2012 Class of FFF (Bailey Coon, Caroline Cooper, Samantha Davies, Grace Davis, Amy Wells Havins, Allison Wiley Lent, Katy Messersmith, Carla Miller, Kaylyn Montgomery, Lauren Parsons, Lynsey Wiley Provost and Krystal Schlegel) or online.
If 1,000 tickets are sold, they’ll achieve a year of funding the Suicide and Crisis Center‘s programs.

This is so wonderful.. in light of what happened yesterday 5/8 to a dear friend of the community…. Fernando Alva a fabulous local realtor and wonderful community volunteer with projects like Diffa.. SCC (yes) he helped me “Hawk” the raffle each year and I am sad that he took his young life all too soon.. and all the people left behind that loved him are needing exactly what the raffle is all about…. Survivors of Suicide… which all Fernando’s friends may need help.. If we sell 1000 of them that will fund the SOS project for one year.. thanks MSC for this post.. it may save many lives by helping us help other.. my blessing… Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas and I thank you from the bottom of our hear.

It saddens me to hear, and know, how many people will be touched by the loss of this young man. We will never know how those around us, at any given moment, may be hurting with a pain they cannot escape in this life. The Suicide Center of North Texas has been there to help me and my small family for nearly eleven years . The benefits a survivor will receive will be far greater than the contributors will ever know. The Suicide Center asks for nothing from the survivors that need a ‘safe’ place to grieve. Only through donations can this be continued. May Fernando be remembered with love.

We support this effort by buying tickets every year. The last thing we need is another car, but if we didn’t buy the tickets we’d have to face Yvonne Crum and that could get downright scary if we failed to cooperate. Best wishes reaching the goal again this year! — –Ruthie
