Remember back this summer how you met a pooch named Phoenix? Sure, you do. He was the little fellow that had been scalded, but was rescued by Paws in the City and managed to attend Top Hat & Tails.
Just in case you were wondering what happened to the good looking blonde terrier, here’s a photo of him with one of his new forever family members. (Phoenix is the one on the right.)
Happy holidays, Phoenix! You’ve come a long way, baby.
BTW, there are a multitude of dogs and cats in need of homes at area shelters and rescue groups. You’re now expecting a pitch to go get one for a gift. Wrong! Getting a pet is a lifetime commitment. If there is a person in your life who wants a pet, give them a note saying that you’ll take them to the place of their choice and underwrite their pick. Or, make a donation in their name to an animal charity.

Phoenix is doubly lucky: First, to be rescued and cared for by Paws in the City, and then to be adopted into such a wonderful home. My Christmas wish would be for all dogs and cats to be that lucky! Thanks for the follow up.
