With nine days to go until the May 13th luncheon at the Fairmont benefiting Phoenix House, it should surprise no one that Lee Ann White has passed the $800,000 point in her one-woman-committee fundraising efforts.
Besides having all the stars in alignment, Lee Ann had a winning combination of former Governor Jeb Bush as keynote speaker, Annette and Harold Simmons as presenting sponsors, the late Paul Bass Jr. as honoree and that Lee Ann White twinkle in her eye.
To think she’s done all of this in just two months. Imagine what she could have done with more time? It will be interesting to see what the final tally will be. Why does one suspect that Lee Ann has a certain goal in mind?
