Last Thursday while DIFF (Dallas International Film Festival) was holding its red carpet gala at the Winspear, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids) was doing a major pat-on-the-back party at The Joule. Not only was it a big old thank you for patrons and friends, it also provided a sneak preview of some of the designer jackets that will be auctioned off at the April 16 “Dramatically Different.”
In the crowd of 200 sipping champagne were designers Abi Ferrin and Geoffrey Henning, who designed a couple of jackets for this year’s auction. Also on hand was Steve Kemble who will be handling event arrangements for the gala at the Hilton Anatole.
After the official party was over at The Joule, the late night crowd moved on over to PM Lounge.
BTW, organizers are expecting a sell-out crowd of 1,500 at the gala, so better get your tickets now!
