While the sun is shining and the temperatures are user-friendly, it’s a great time to visit the Dallas Arboretum with its Twelve Days of Christmas.
Another big draw is the Rory Meyers Children’s Adventure Garden. Saturday, December 19, starting at 11 a.m., they’ll be using “science to answer” how he managed to visit every house in one night, how he squeezes down chimneys and other Kris Kringle questions.
In the main garden the jolly, old fellow in the red-and-white suit will be in the main garden with one of his for-real reindeer.
And that’s just a smidgen of the activities that will be underway. As if that wasn’t enough, every day there will be plenty of things going on for munchkins and their parent and grandparents to see and do. Don’t believe it? Just check this list out!
But be forewarned. Come Monday, January 4, and most of February , the Children’s Garden will go into hibernation for winterize refreshening in preparation for the opening of Dallas Blooms that opens on Thursday, February 26. .
