Team Connor was partying among the butter-soft Bottega fashions at NorthPark on Wednesday, September 23. Just down the NorthPark way at Pirch’s glamorama kitchen, the goodies were being served up on trays and an array of glasses were filled with vino.
The occasion? Not a foodie convention! Rather it was the patrons of the upcoming Trains at NorthPark presented by Bank of Texas and benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas.
Among the first to arrive were Trains Co-Chairs April Cook and Jennifer Tobin and Bank of Texas’s Senior VP Pat Brockette and Ronald McD’s CEO Jill Cumnock.
While adorable personalized mini-trains were stationed next to favors (conductor’s whistles, of course), Pirch’s Kasie Jacobs, NorthPark’s Lona Crabb and Ronald McDonald’s Diane Fullingim talked about the 2015 location for the mammoth choo-choo exhibition.
It’s a huge space adjacent to Nordstroms on the upper level. With NorthPark filling up to capacity and its 50th anniversary, it’s amazing that there was one square foot of space available.
The trains start chugging on Saturday, November 21, and will continue to run until Sunday, January 3. That’s when 2016 Co-Chair Annika Cail and Sara Friedman take over for the Ronald McDonald fundraiser.
BTW, don’t bother worrying about getting tickets now. They don’t go on sale until November online. However, sponsorships, as well as ordering a custom railcar, are always available!
