While T. Boone Pickens was helping to dedicate the new T. Boone Pickens Cancer Center at Baylor on Monday, September 24, the AWARE Luncheon ladies were meeting at Lauryn Gayle White‘s home. Luncheon Chair Laurie Kidder announced that the lunch would take place Friday, April 5, at the Hilton Anatole.

It will be a real Dallas occasion, since it will be honoring Larry “J.R.” Hagman and his wife Maj, who suffers from Alzheimer’s.
At the meeting that included Irene Pence, Diane Brierley, Dr. Cindy Marshall, Tucean Webb, Linda Ivy, Ramona Jones and Carmaleta Whiteley, CEO/President of the Greater Dallas Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association Mike Spencer talked about the disease that affects so many.
