Imagine a dinner with Shakespeare at The Globe’s private offices with the Queen’s chef providing the vittles. Now, fast forward and you’ve just about got this TACA auction item!
Wine Cellar Dinner (Value: Priceless)
If you love theater or have been curious about what goes on before the curtain ever goes up or even before the actors are assembled, you’ll love this dinner with playwrights Will Power and Enda Walsh. They’re already making headlines and collecting accolades for their works.
The gentlemen will be in town on Sunday October 21, for dinner and table talk with ten guests whom you get to select.
And just no old place would do for this chat. After all, you want some privacy and you don’t want to have to shout at each other in a crowded restaurant. Heavens, no. So, TACA has arranged with the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek for the winning bidder to have this affair in the wine cellar with a four-course dinner created by the Mansion’s Executive Chef Bruno Davallion and wine pairings by the Mansion’s Wine and Beverage Director Michael Flynn.
So you won’t have to worry about scurrying home, you’ll spend the night at the Mansion and wake up to in-room breakfast for two along with overnight valet parking.
Suggestion: Before heading to your room, stop off at the bar and have a leisurely after-dinner drink. You deserve it and the Mansion bar is so deliciously wonderful after din-din.
PS — And if you’re worrying about missing a Cowboys game, forget it. They’re playing an away game that starts at noon. See, TACA thinks of everything. You can have your football and “will power.”
