A.W.A.R.E. President Chair Kay Hammond just revealed that Larry “J.R. Ewing” Hagman will be not only the honoree at the April 5 luncheon, he’ll also be the guest speaker.
Unfortunately, he has firsthand knowledge of how Alzheimer’s can plague a family. His wife of 58 years, Maj has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.
In addition to dealing with Maj’s illness and resurrecting the “Dallas” series, Larry has had to battle cancer himself.
If you’ve ever heard him speak, you know that the talk will be from the heart with a lots of guts.
Chaired by Laurie Kidder, the luncheon will take place at the Hilton Anatole with the silent auction starting at 10 a.m.
