Thank heaven for back-up plans. With Mother Nature continuing to be a spoil sport and rain because she couldn’t get a date to the Cattle Baron’s Ball, back-up plans have been kicked into place for parking and the live auction.
Parking
Everybody’s all worried about their cars getting muddy. Hey, if you’re driving a car that costs more than a condo, who could blame you?
Just to play it safe, there’s been a change of plans for parking.
Limousines will enter through Gate 1, as originally planned.
The rest of the buckboards, surreys and vehicles will bypass the Southfork entrances and go south about one mile. There on the left will be Tom Kimbrough Stadium and its nice paved parking lot. There you’ll leave your vehicle, hop on board a Wynne Transportation Motorcoach and be taken to the festivities.
When it’s time to call it a night, you’ll be shuttled back to the stadium and your vehicle.
Live Auction
Poor old Mickey Moose is going to have to keep his head held high all by his lonely. Co-chairs Skye Brewer and Kristen Johnston have decided to move the live auction from the Bank of America/Merrill Lynch/U.S. Trust Live Auction Stage over to the very tented Andrews Distributing Main Stage area, where Blake Shelton will perform.
The silent auction is staying put in its tent and the word is there are going to be real steals!
