Dallas folks aren’t hunkering down under their sheets quivering about these pesky mosquitoes. Okay, so maybe last night one woman was seen racing out of the Magnolia saying, “Aerial attack! Aerial attack!” Understand that the outdoor diners across the way at Mi Cocina were having a hearty laugh.
Yes, the disease-carrying critters have had a dramatic effect on folks in the area, but thanks to common sense and precautions, life goes on.
That’s why tonight the after-shave and eau de cologne of choice at Nasher Sculpture Center‘s ‘Til Midnight at the Nasher will have a DEET flavor.
In addition to the American folk-pop indie rock band Smile Smile, Woody Allen’s “Midnight in Paris” will be the featured film thanks to the Nasher’s partnering up with the Dallas Film Society and The Edge.
And the best part? It’s free. Send thank-you notes to Texas Instrument Foundation, that made it possible thanks to a generous grant.
Concert starts at 7, so get there early to get a good patch of ground in the gardens.
