The nonprofit community just knows it’s lucky to be in Dallas. There are a heck of a lot of folks who are preparing for a huge fundraising fall and winter.
You didn’t think these events just meant arranging the silverware and stamping envelopes? No, of course you didn’t. Any one of these people could easily outshine Danny Boyles in hoop-la special events.
For this reason, we’re going to let chairs and co-chairs provide you with the opportunity to “invest” in their projects of love in the days ahead. No, you don’t have to call your stock broker. Rather, if you’re impressed with their event, buy a seat or even a table. Better yet, think about a sponsorship.
Honest confession: This past year a number of event chairs had sad faces because guests who had purchased tables in the past were only buying a couple of seats. So the chairs and co-chairs have been working very hard to ramp up their events to get the table buys back.
