According to Chi Omega Christmas Market Co-chair Kelly Little:
“This November, we will celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Chi Omega Christmas Market, an annual holiday shopping event produced by the Chi Omega Alumnae of Dallas, which supports local charitable organizations and collegiate scholarships. In its 35-year history, the Chi Omega Christmas Market has raised $6.3 million for nearly 100 different non-profit organizations in Dallas-Fort Worth.
“To continue this spirited tradition, the Chi Omega Christmas Market has pledged $205,500 to the following 2012 beneficiaries: CONTACT Crisis Line, Friends of Wednesday’s Child, Genesis Women’s Shelter, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas, Night OWLS, Parkland Foundation, Readers2Leaders, Taylor’s Gift Foundation, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, and Chi Omega Collegiate Scholarships.
“I am deeply honored and proud to be co-chairing the 35th anniversary of the Chi Omega Christmas Market with Denise Jernigan. This cherished tradition represents all that Chi Omega stands for with a commitment to supporting the community around us by helping wonderful organizations in need and helping young women flourish in their collegiate endeavors. Denise and I look forward to making 2012’s Market a record-breaking success.
“The Chi Omega Christmas Market will be held November 14-17, 2012 in Centennial Hall at Fair Park. The Market will feature more than 165-handpicked vendors from around the country filling hundreds of coveted merchant booths, transforming Centennial Hall into a luxury gift marketplace.
