Tom and Shelly Codd*

According to  21st Annual Zoo To Do 2012 Co-Chair Shelly Codd:

“My husband Tom and I are thrilled to co-chair the 21st Annual Zoo To Do 2012: Go Big or Go Home, benefiting the Dallas Zoological Society. Founded in 1955, the Society serves as a non-profit support group to aid the Dallas Zoo in raising funds to complete facility reconfigurations and exhibit additions. Zoo To Do is a major source of funding for the Dallas Zoological Society, with proceeds from the event helping the Society to continue in its mission to support the Dallas Zoo as an outstanding center of education, entertainment, and wildlife conservation.

“On Saturday, November 3, 2012, we will transform the Dallas Zoo into classic Las Vegas with 25 of Dallas’s top chefs out on the Strip, led by Honorary Chef Jim “Sevy” Severson.  These chefs will prepare exquisite tastings for our guests to enjoy while they rub shoulders with Dallas’s biggest dining players. Exciting live and silent auctions along with live music and dancing, will entertain guests all night. And remember, what happens at Zoo To Do, stays at Zoo To Do!

“The event will be held at the Dallas Zoo’s Giants of the Savanna and Wilds of Africa Plaza from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and The Edgar A. Robinson Family will serve as honorary chairs.

“By bringing culinary expertise, philanthropy and tradition together, we are able to maintain and improve one of the most integral parts of Dallas’s education and conservation efforts. Zoo To Do helps the Dallas Zoological Society accomplish its mission, while putting on one of the most exciting events of the year at the same time.
