“The details for this year’s awards dinner are being kept under wraps, but rest assured that the surprises will be worth the wait.

“It is my honor to work with April Box Chamberlain, CFRE, president and CEO of the Methodist Health System Foundation on this event. April’s goal each year is to pay tribute to and delight the recipient of the award. That tradition will continue this year as we honor Michael M. Boone.
“A passionate and tireless community advocate, Boone is co-founder of Haynes and Boone, LLP, one of the largest and most well-respected law firms in America. He will be presented the award for his excellence in community leadership.
“The 2012 Robert S. Folsom Leadership Award Dinner will take place on Tuesday, October 30, at the Hilton Anatole Hotel, Grand Ballroom, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Neuro Critical Care Unit at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.

Last year, Methodist provided $82 million in charity care, an increasingly disproportionate share of charity care in the Dallas area market.
