Michael Steindorf
It pays off to put in that extra time for causes. Fullbright and Jaworski attorney Michael Steindorf has been “a lifelong fan of Broadway and regularly travels to New York with his wife and children to see Broadway shows.”
But he’s done more than just settle back in his chair and enjoy the stage activity. In 2011 he headed the Dallas Summer Musical’s executive committee through a pretty challenging period. According to the DSM folks, “Under his exemplary leadership, DSM took the difficult steps of reducing full time [sic] and trimming the company’s annual budget, while still maintaining its commitment to excellence in the productions DSM presents.”
In addition to his leadership on the committee, he has provided countless hours of pro bono legal work.
For this reason and a number of others he will receive the “2012 Star of Touring Broadway Award” by The Broadway League. The award recognizes the “contributions of those who have displayed exemplary service to the Broadway industry and are considered innovators of their craft.”
