The November 15 Nasher Salon featuring Kristin Chenoweth has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 8. The reason? Her “filming schedule of GCB” demands her presence.
It’s a win-win situation, though. First of all, the folks already holding tickets for the originally scheduled November 15 salon have the first opportunity to transfer their tickets for the new date. It would be wise to hop to it and exchange tickets ASAP.
Why? If, by Thursday, November 10, there are any available tickets for the new date, they’ll be available to the public.
Also, the Nasher Sculpture Center is working with Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts to have Kristin participate in an afternoon salon for the students. According to the Nasher folks,
“When all seats are sold to the evening Salon a limited number of tickets will become available for the student-led Salon at Booker T. Washington High School. Tickets for this Salon are $25 for Members and $30 for Non-members. The public is encouraged to check the website starting on November 11.”
The Booker T. salon is great for a couple of reasons. The enthusiasm and energy of the students are contagious. Also, the featured speaker always seems to have fun talking with the kids.
BTW, the evening salon starts at 8, so why not have dinner at the Nasher Cafe by Wolfgang Puck at 6 p.m. But you’ve got to make reservations, so hop to it.
