While some were shopping over the Thanksgiving holidays, others were “editing” their closets and trunks. For those in the latter category, if you found some old blankets, ask yourself, “Do I absolutely need them?” Couldn’t you use the space? Well, someone or something else sure could use them.
The Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas has once again joined up with Christine Cook‘s Sleep Experts to collect new and “gently used” blankets for the Family Gateway. Just drop them off and the gals will take it from there.
Now, if the stored-away blankets is more of the un-gently used variety, take it to the Dallas Animal Services. The critters love to snuggle up during these frigid days and nights. If all of your blankets are too pristine for dogs and cats, then think about making a donation.DAS’s Jody Jones and her crew will find the best bedding bargains for your money.
